50 x 10 = 500

Might sounds basic like basic maths, but 50 reps of 10 exercises is far from basic. The ‘Barbell 500’ challenge is something we have been doing off and on for a few months. It acts as a good measure of performance as we always do it for time. Of course I now have added weight to contend with, instead of just the bar on its own. But hey thats all part of building them guns.

Don’t forget when doing so many reps of the same exercise keep an eye on your form. It’s easy to sacrifice good form for a good time, but that doesn’t get you anywhere!
