Be Basic . . .

This whole weight loss journey is so overwhelming. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. You are changing your life and taking control and that takes some really big balls! As you know by now my journey started with a conversation with Alan a fitness instructor at my gym. This started an instant rapport and trust between the two of us, and I subsequently started working with Alan as my PT and he is a massive part of my journey and transformation so far.

After our initial meeting he set me some challenges. These were small acts I could do every day to make a difference. They included taking the stairs not the lift, drinking 1/2 litre of water a days and tracking my steps on my FitBit.

These may only be small changes but initially they were a challenge. Now they have become a given. And thats the point. Get the basics down and the changes become habits. Then you don’t even have to think about what you are doing, you will just do it over and over again. And we all know consistency is key.
